Public forum on agricultural supply chain management by University of the Philipines

On August 29, the University of the Philippines in Mindanao has arranged for a public forum on agricultural supply chain management. This is being done with the objective of improving linkages between Mindanao’s producers and the market. Participants of the forum are experts in the area of domestic and international supply chain management. They will be talking on building relationships between players in the supply chain.

The forum will also include talks on market trends and the vegetable markets in the Philippines. An important section of the forum will dwell on research redirections and opportunities. The forum is scheduled on August 29 at the School of Management and is free for all to attend. The event is amongst the various planned for the run-up to the UP Centennial Celebration next year.  Minda News reports:

Estremera said the forum is part of a run-up of activities for the UP Centennial Celebration next year. It is sponsored by the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) as a collaborative effort between Curtin University of Technology, UP Diliman, Benguet State University and UP Mindanao.
