Microsoft and GXS to Market Innovative Business Solutions

Communication is the key for any business and a proper integration between various channels within it actually decides the degree of its success. To confer this fact more prominence, GXS , a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions joined hands with Microsoft Corp. to market innovative solutions to speed and simplify integration between trading partners worldwide.

The strategic alliance came from Microsoft naming GXS Trading Grid its recommended global B2B network for BizTalk Server.  It comes in wake of demand for scalable and affordable supply chain solutions. Both companies are going to market jointly their leading solutions for business organizations on real-time, collaborative networks basis by connecting supply chains trading partners.
How this will work out as a practical benefit module is a million dollar question for companies. But going by company sources the alliance focuses to enable B2B integration initiatives, which will be taken across organizations’ global supply chains.

GXS is using Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 and SQL Server 2005 technology in the GXS Trading Grid, customers can extend existing internal investments on Microsoft.NET Framework-based technologies outside their enterprise through seamless integration with business partners.

GSX is providing G rid-Ready solution using BizTalk Server 2006 available to businesses worldwide. It should help for a base for desktop, server and services software in businesses for streamlining their scope effectively.  It will reduce manual and duplicative efforts of complexity. We heard sometimes duplication does help in keeping a control of task performed. Does that send caution to the wind blowing here? Time to ponder!
