World Wide Technology introduces solution from Symbol To improve the productivity of workers and at the same time increase device manageability, World Wide Technology, Inc. has selected an enterprise mobility solution from Symbol. This solution will be deployed at the company’s warehouses and distribution facilities spread across US. Supply and Demand Chain Executive reports:
WWT is using Symbol’s MC9060-K rugged mobile computers and Mobility Services Platform (MSP) to capture, move and manage mission-critical data to improve its warehouse operations. This enables the warehouse employees to capture details of boxes containing IT and telecommunications products as they move through the warehouse to shipment thus allowing for real-time visibility into inventory and eliminating the need for constant scanner repositioning and multiple scans.
