RedPrairie Corp. to buy MARC Global Holdings Inc

In a move to expand its consumer base and geographic spread, RedPrairie Corp., has decided to buy MARC Global Holdings Inc. RedPrairie Corp. is a supply chain management software provider and is based in

Waukesha

. While, MARC Global Holdings, a provider of supply chain management products, is based in

Atlanta

and has a customer base spread across US,

Europe

and Asia Pacific.

The terms and conditions of the deal have not been disclosed as of now. The integration of the two organizations is expected to be in place by early next month. The new firm will operate under the name, ‘RedPrairie Corp.’. The Business Journal reports:

The combined company is expected to have 738 employees at 21 locations worldwide. It is expected to have a revenue of $172 million and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization of $39 million in the current year.
