Council of Supply Chain Management to conduct roundtable on fuel pricing
On January 24 2006, the Council of Supply Chain Management is reportedly conducting a Toronto roundtable conference on fuel pricing and subsequent surcharges, which in 2006, are likely to pose a major challenge for the Canadian supply chain community. Ctl reports:
Scheduled speakers at the roundtable, both experts in their fields, will examine the geopolitical and economic factors affecting supply chain costs and efficiency. Both speakers will present risk mitigation strategies that can be adopted by both shippers and carriers to reduce over all supply chain costs.
